Let’s get colorful!

Hey volunteers, are you ready to get colorful? We certainly hope so because YWCA staff and volunteers are participating in Seattle’s 38th annual Pride Festival! Bring your friends and family and march with us!

The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012, and participants are encouraged to arrive at the staging area at 10 a.m. The parade kicks off at 4th Avenue & Union Street, and will proceed north down 4th Avenue toward Denny Way. It is expected to last approximately 2.5 hours. The parade will take place rain or shine, so expect for the unexpected! For more information, see Seattle Pride Parade’s webpage!

In spirit of the YWCA, all attendees are encouraged to wear orange! We are bringing YWCA goodies to hand out, so make sure you come early for first dibs!
