2012 Inspire Luncheon Season Approaches!
The Multi-Purpose Room was abuzz on Saturday morning as volunteers, YWCA Board members, 2012 Inspire Luncheon Committee members, University of Washington Panhellenic members and YWCA staff gathered to put the final touches on the programs and donation pamphlets for Thursday’s kick-off to our YWCA 2012 Inspire Luncheon Season!
With 1,000 guests expected to attend the Eastside Inspire Luncheon with keynote speaker Helen Hunt on Thursday, the volunteers were extremely busy attaching paperclips to donation forms and stuffing YWCA bags with appropriate paraphernalia.
Saturday’s work party was the last of several scheduled throughout February and March. Thanks to the many hours put in by volunteers and staff members, our luncheon season is projected to be the best yet! We hope you can attend and join with the YWCA’s efforts to eliminate racism and empower women!
